What We Do

The Monumental Task Committee, Inc. is dedicated to repairing and preserving pieces of local New Orleans history, making the city more attractive and its history more accessible for both residents and visitors. Our area of focus is the preservation and care of the 245+ monuments that are located within the city limits. Since our inception in 1989, we have completed many successful restoration projects, but our work is far from complete! Our important projects are only possible through the generous support of countless volunteers, collaborators, donors and supporters. Want to know how you can help?
